From Qaen to Valencia
1001 is two people and two places: Shahrzad, in Tehran, and Jaume, in Valencia.
Shahrzad grew up with Qaen saffron in her family kitchen and knows the people who grow it. Jaume, in Valencia, makes sure it reaches every customer in perfect condition. We have built 1001 ourselves, from start to finish: no middlemen between the field and your kitchen.

Why 1001
Shahrzad shares her name with the storyteller of One Thousand and One Nights, who told a story every night. That is where the brand name comes from: a thousand and one nights, a thousand and one threads.
